Chinese New Year Lanterns

 

The Third Graders learned about the Chinese Culture and their traditions of celebrating the new year. They looked at some of the lanterns used during this time and how light is an important symbol to them.

They created their own beautiful lanterns from paper, gems and tissue streamers.  Well done Gang!
