THIRD GRADE

Autumn Banner

The Third Graders drew an Autumn scene on sand paper with crayons.  Then they watched as Mrs. Flake used the iron to melt the wax image onto a piece of muslin.  The students then hand sewed a pocket into the top of the muslin to hang the banner. Then they carefully decorated the banner with beads and ties at the bottom for fringe...Ooh La La, Tres Magnifique!
